| To Whom It May Concern,
I
have no hesitation in writing this letter of recommendation for
Jason Lowe. Until just recently, I’d been his direct superior
at work and have always found him to be dedicated and conscientious
in all tasks, as well as having a pleasant, agreeable personality.
I would regard him as the kind of employee that would be a credit
to any company.
Jason’s
history with my company began when he joined us straight from
University. Right away he impressed everybody with, not only his
hard-working attitude and ability to communicate well with fellow
employees, but also his capability for creative thought and ‘thinking
outside the box’ with regard to problem solving. Over the course
of the five years that Jason worked with us, he was able to gain
the full confidence of everyone at the company, meaning he was
constantly entrusted with greater responsibility. He has a strongly
motivated character, and always tackled projects with efficiency,
not to mention originality.
As
a measure of the esteem in which Jason was held at this company,
he was entrusted with a major overseas project last year. This
project had the possibility of being of great importance to our
business, both in terms of the possible opening up of new markets
and in the international prestige it could bring. Based on his
work performance we had no hesitation in nominating Jason for
this task.
Despite the upheaval of needing to move abroad for 3 months, Jason
approached the assignment with instant enthusiasm. Over the course
of the project, he pursued every opportunity with zeal, and not
only achieved all that we asked of him, but was also able to implement
ideas of his own, directly leading to an increase in company profit.
As
a complement to his effectiveness from a work perspective, Jason
was also able to maintain good relationships with all departments
within the company. In the fast-moving conditions of the business
world, the ability to communicate easily with co-workers, subordinates
or superiors is of paramount importance. Jason was always an easy-going,
friendly presence in the workplace, with the ability to take charge
or delegate when appropriate. In addition to this, Jason was willing
to use his free-time to study all aspects of the company, as well
as arranging social events, such as hikes or theater trips, which
were always a great success, and important to the building of
team-spirit.
To
conclude, it was a sad loss for our company when Jason decided
to pursue further opportunities. I have no doubt that he has the
ability to give outstanding service to your company, and is an
asset who I would have no uncertainty in giving my full recommendation.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me should you require any further
information.
Yours sincerely,
|
